The Beginning of an Artistic Journey
Lauren’s artistic journey began in her childhood, igniting a passion that led her to pursue a Fine Art degree in painting in 2009 at the University of Arts London. Here, she honed her skills and developed a signature style characterised by a blend of oils, mixed medi and digital illustration.
The Promise That Lingers
After completing her degree, Lauren packed her paintbrushes and stored her paintings in her mother’s loft, setting off on a career in property. She promised herself that she would return to painting once she felt more financially secure. Yet, after selling numerous properties and building strong personal and professional connections, the “right time” never seemed to come—until Lauren realised it would only arrive if she made it happen. She chose to make now the right time.
In January 2019, Lauren took the leap to share her art on a global platform, embracing collaborations with emerging female business owners aiming to make their mark. Alongside this, a modern-day love story brought her to the enchanting seaside town of Whitstable, a place that captured her heart and became a cherished escape from London’s hustle.
The LRM Studio Whitstable: A Creative Sanctuary
In November 2023, Lauren opened the LRM Studio—a space designed to showcase her artwork and connect with her audience. When visiting the studio you will fins yourself in a realm where creativity knows no limits, and art becomes a journey of self-discovery. Here, colours spring to life, fragrances evoke nostalgia, and each piece forges powerful, instant connections. In this space, ART BREATHES LIFE!
