Terms and Conditions
Organiser
The Dogs of Whitstable Competition is organised by Lauren Rogers-Martin (“the Organiser”), operating at The LRM Studio, 29 Oxford Street, Whitstable, CT5 1DB.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all individuals aged 18 years or over.
Entrants must own the dog being submitted or have explicit permission from the dog’s owner.
Entry Requirements
Each entry must include:
A photograph of the dog in a sitting position.
The dog’s name and a brief description of their personality.
A £8.50 entry fee.
Entries should be submitted via email to hello@artbylrm.com.
Entry Fee
The £8.50 entry fee is non-refundable.
Submission Guidelines
All entries must be the original work of the entrant.
Entries must not contain any material that infringes on the rights of any third party.
Selection Process
A panel appointed by the Organiser will review all valid entries.
Five dogs will be selected to feature in the illustration.
The selection decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
Winner Notification
Winners will be announced at The LRM Once-a-Year Pink Ticket Sale on Saturday, 10th April 2025.
Winners do not present will be notified via the contact details provided during entry.
Prize
Each winner will receive a framed A4 print of the final artwork, valued at £85.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
Usage Rights
By entering, participants grant the Organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted photographs and descriptions for promotional purposes related to the competition and resulting artwork.
Data Protection
Personal data provided will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Liability
The Organiser accepts no responsibility for entries lost, damaged, or delayed in transmission.
Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
Modification or Cancellation
The Organiser reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition if circumstances arise beyond its control.
Acceptance of Terms
By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
